Nestled amidst the apple orchards of Manali, this retreat offers a unique blend of traditional hatha yoga, functional yoga, myofascial release, and immersive nature, art, food and cultural experiences.
Aishwarya is a movement educator, who's explored the length and depth of movement modalities. Her curiosity about the body and its many fascinating capabilities is what drives her research and practice. Her teaching style is a combination of anatomy based functional yoga, Somatics, and Traditional Hatha Yoga. Aishwarya will be leading the myofascial workshops on the Body & Balance Retreat '24
AISHWARYA
Shadiya is a Hatha Yoga Instructor with a teaching experience of 6 years. She studied under the lineage of Bihar School of Yoga and she practices and teaches body alignment and breath awareness through Hatha ,Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. She has taught over 3000 classes and conducted workshops and corporate yoga sessions. Over the last three years, Shadiya has worked one on one with students with therapeutic needs relating to pain management and lifestyle illnesses. Her classes have helped them improve their physical and mental well being. Shadiya will be leading the Hatha Yoga and Pranayama sessions on the Body & Balance Retreat

Being a strong believer of movement is medicine, Sree teaches functional movement based on Pilates,Hatha yoga, LYT Method & PCES ,BRM method, Body ready Birth both for women in general & perinatal.Sree will be leading the LYT Method sessions on the Body & Balance retreat '24.

This retreat is tailor-made for movement enthusiasts! The sessions are expertly crafted to take your knowledge of movement to the next level or introduce you to the exciting world of anatomy-based yoga/movement practices.
Why in the mountains?
Nature based healing has been proven to be effective in calming the nervous system, inducing a state of relaxation. Away from the constant distraction of noise pollution, you will have the best environment for an immersive experience. The quietude will serve as a gentle reminder to allow yourself time for deep reflection.
Anatomy & physiology focus
At the retreat we will address the unique physiological needs of our bodies through the lens of movement-Dynamic and static. You will gain insights into the natural variations in muscle structure, joint mobility, and skeletal alignment. and learn practices that support nervous system regulation, energy levels, changing physiology and overall well-being.
Immersive Experience
This retreat will be all encompassing. We will explore the local villages, talk about the culture of Manali, travel to Lahaul, Atal and Sissu and learn about the unique architecture of the region. Afternoon crafting sessions are a bonus on this retreat, we will learn how to print with the sun, or make momos!

Kanupriya is an architect turned travel professional who has taken to a purposeful life in the mountains. Having begun her journey in the resplendent mountains of Sikkim, Kanupriya soon realized that the 'Mountains were calling her'- TRULY! While working as a full-time architect, she began to pursue all things travel and tourism in 2016 - with the inception of her travel company Travel a.ip- exploring the length and breadth of the extraordinary landscape in Sikkim. Soon, she found her calling in the industry (Travel, Tourism), and added another feather to her overflowing cap with Hospitality in 2022. Kanupriya began running Trä Boutique Homestay in Manali. Today Kanupriya plans, curates and executes trips in the western and eastern Himalayas along with her home state Rajasthan through her travel company Travel a.i.p, while simultaneously hosting folks at Trä Boutique homestay in Manali. Her philosophy in work and life is simple- Live Slowly, Embrace sustainable practices, Reduce your footprint, and Move through life joyously.
